Born in Changsha, China in 1995, Hannah was adopted from an orphanage and moved to the United States at 5 months old. Although she had consistently shown interest in art, it wasn’t until her senior year of high school that she became committed to pursuing a career in creative design. To build a portfolio and gain experience, Hannah attended a community college to study graphic design and obtain her associates degree. Following this, she transferred to the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth to finish her education and graduate with her bachelors.
Throughout her college experience, Hannah sought to explore her artistic identity, expand her skill set, and evolve as an individual. While working in a variety of fine and new media art forms, Hannah learned to draw inspiration from literature, emotion, color, and geometric shape. To this day, she continues to describe these aspects as prominent influences in her creative process.
