Lizzy Santoro is a photographer who lives in Rhode Island. She is pursuing a BFA in Photography in addition to a BA in Political Science. She is most interested in using photography to document and explore political issues and their affect on people. In addition to her most recent work on American immigration policy, she has also documented how the American military’s presence in Okinawa, Japan has impacted the local culture and community. Ultimately, she strives to document and describe the human element in politics with the hope of better informing the American public.
