Dani Kumor grew up and has spent most of her life in Plymouth, Massachusetts, filling her time with drawing and doodling instead of sports. It was ingrained in her as her talent and her passion. With that in her mind, she graduated Plymouth North High School on the Honor Roll and went on to her next chapter in life. While it took a while to prove herself, she finally was allowed and accepted to join the Illustration department of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth where opportunities continued. In sophomore year she was accepted into the Golden Key National Honor Society and was given a separate opportunity to join a Business of Art Internship in Fairhaven, Massachusetts. Her crowning achievement has been her grades, which got her on the dean’s list every semester of her college career as well as chancellor’s list in her sophomore year. Within her studies she excelled in every class and gained the eyes of her professors. In her junior year, she was given the opportunity to illustrate an entire children’s e-book that will be available later this year. In her senior year she participated in one more internship on campus, including a Graphic Design aspect to her growing expansive talent. In May of 2017 she will be graduating with a BFA in Illustration and a minor in Fine Arts.
