Emilie Jolivet was born and raised in Fall River, Massachusetts. Emilie has loved art since she was a child, where she constantly had a pencil in her hand. She was always looking for things to draw. This eventually inspired her to pursue a future career in an art-related field. Design is important to her because it gives her the chance to make creative forms of communication, and it allows her to experiment with various techniques, supplies, and mediums throughout her designs. Her most recent work has contained various artistic experiments to achieve the proper form of communication for whatever was required. She attended Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School, where she received an education in Graphic Communications, and discovered her love for visual communication. Here, Emilie participated in a Skills USA Advertising Design competition and won first place in regionals. She graduated in 2013 and proceeded to attend the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a focus in Graphic Design. When she is not designing, she is usually experimenting with various other art techniques, exploring craft breweries, and embracing her endless obsession with dogs.
